The Colour Palette of 2026
The New Year will soon be upon us, so we thought we would take a look at some of the predicted colour schemes for the 2026 wedding season. Taking inspiration from London and New York Spring/Summer Fashion weeks, Pantone has projected trending colours, which we have used to create five suits to provide inspiration for your own Bespoke Made to Measure Journey.
Mandarin Orange
Orange is a great option for a statement in your wedding colour scheme in 2026. While more burnt tones fit beautifully in an autumn colour palette, here at SETT we think it will provide a vibrancy to your spring or summer wedding. It can be used subtly as seen with our choice of Bateman Ogden’s orange pinstripe fabric. For this option, we would pair the cloth with a bold orange lining from Dugdale Bros & Co and finish with a subtle mid brown horn style button. This allows Grooms to incorporate the colour scheme, while maintaining a minimalistic flair.
For those Grooms who want a bolder pop of colour, we have put together a combination around a rust orange corduroy from Brisbane Moss. To emphasise the orange we have paired the cord alongside a floral lining with gentle orange detailing. We know, Florals for Spring… Groundbreaking!
Butter Yellow
A pale yellow can be a difficult colour to style, however, for a summer 2026 wedding, we have put together a linen suit – perfect for those warmer temperatures. For this ensemble we have kept the colours neutral, embellishing using a natural horn button and another Liberty Fabrics floral lining from Huddersfield. These keep the suit sleek and clean, and allow for your chosen silhouette to shine through, whether that is single or double-breasted.
Plum/Burgundy
Plum is a colour we have loved for a while here at Sett and we are excited to see it have its time to shine in 2026 Autumn/Winter Weddings. For this colour code, we actually have a suit already made up. To accent the plum we detailed the suit with navy moleskin around the pocket jets. The suit is finished with a neutral champagne dot lining and taupe horn style buttons. These details add an elegant finish to the suit, while allowing the colour to speak for itself.
Cobalt Blue
It would not be a Sett recommendation without a mention of Abraham Moon Tweed. A firm favourite at Sett, we have chosen a bold blue tweed for the cobalt blue outfit. Fitting into a seasonless palette, this colour is a classic addition to any colour scheme. To emphasise the vibrancy of the tweed we have again paired the fabric with a subtle Liberty Lining and a monochromatic navy real corozo button.
Chocolate Brown
A colour seen throughout fashion trends in 2025, chocolate is definitely a shade to look out for in 2026 Weddings. To create a suit in this timeless shade we have used a soft flannel cloth from Hardy Minnis. To give the colour a retro flair we have paired it with a Bateman Ogden Lining, completing the look a black real corozo button. This suit would be the perfect look for any season and would complement even the brightest of colour codes.
