Just like any other tailoring company, we understand the importance of a well-fitted suit; however, at SETT, we take this even further, building the entire outfit not only around your body but also your personal style. As you may know, our bespoke suits are completely made to measure and allow your personality to shine through every detail. Let us take you through what to expect when you have your one-to-one consultation.
Initial Consultation
Kicking off the process with your initial appointment, we will sit down to discuss what exactly you want from your dream suit. If you have any inspiration photos from Pinterest, pictures of past suits you have worn or even one you may have spotted in our shop, we can focus on what exactly you like and start building from there.
From fit to finish, this is the most important step. Focusing completely on your preferences in colour, texture and cut, we will guide you through the process, taking into consideration when and where you are looking to wear this suit and incorporating seasonal or occasional influences. Whether this is a suit to replace your daily driver or one inspired by a David Bowie music video, no dream is too big or small for our dedicated team.
Now’s the time for the fitting process. Taking your measurements using our sizing garments, this once again is a moment for you to let us know your preferences when it comes to fit. Do you prefer a more traditional, looser fit with multiple breaks or a slim fit, minimal break and sleeker look? How the jacket falls, the size of the lapels, sleeve length and many more details are completely up to you. Rest assured, we are there to help and guide you every step of the way.
Second Fitting
Roughly 8-10 weeks after your initial consultation, your bespoke suit will be fully crafted and ready to wear. This is the moment where everything comes together – from the buttons to the lining, which you yourself hand pieced at the very beginning.
We want nothing more than for you to feel as good as you look so will take you through the finished piece in detail – making sure you are happy and confident with the fit and finish. Minor alterations like trouser length may be required which we would send to our alterations team for the work to be carried.
